Maurizio Sarri who is the coach of Premier League side Chelsea has stated clearly that his target is to be the Blues boss for the next ten years.

Since the creation of Chelsea, and also since Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003, no manager has spent 10 years at the Stamford Bridge club.

In fact the longest anyone has managed under the Russian billionaire is Jose Mourinho in his first spell at the club as he spent three years and three months.

But 59-year-old Italian professional football coach Maurizio believes winning trophies at Chelsea will help him achieve his target.

“It depends on the club. I want to stay here for 10 years.

“I know I have to win. And then it depends on the club. I want to stay here for a long time,” Maurizio Sarri explained according to Express UK.

After spending three years at Italian club Napoli, Maurizio Sarri joined Chelsea on July 14, 2018 replacing former Blues’ manager Antonio Conte who won the FA Cup title last season.
