Meanwhile, Nigeria will begin a “phased and gradual” easing of more than four weeks of lockdowns in the national capital and the largest city on May 4, President Muhammadu Buhari said in an address on Monday.
There is this scam attempt going on in Nigeria sine this coronavirus outbreak, and this is mostly concern with those that have BVN with Nigeria banks.
Everyone are everywhere trying to deceive people since the government promised to send money through BVN to people, so some wicked people have seized it as an opportunity to deceive the masses.
Please I beg of you don’t click on any link or disclose your BVN to anybody
What is BVN

Overhaul Presidential Amnesty Programme now to avoid crisis, says Ex-Niger Delta Agitators
The Coalition of Ex-Agitators Forum in the Niger Delta has called on Stakeholders, Elders and the Federal Government of Nigeria to rise to the occasion and do the needful by overhauling the Presidential Amnesty Program to avoid the thick cloud hanging over the sky from falling.
The group in a statement by its National Chairman, General Aso Tambo gave this advice over the weekend after due consultation with relevant stakeholders both within Nigeria and in the diaspora. The group lamented that it has never been so bad stating that the program has been sold out to the Civil Servants by the Coordinator Professor Charles Quaker Dokubo, who instead of reintegrating the ex-agitators are now reintegrating themselves.
According to the group, the intention of Late President Yar Adua was to reintegrate the ex-agitators and keeping the peace for development to strive in the region. But this is not happening.
“The fundamental issues that made us carry arms are yet to be addressed and instead of reintegrating the ex-agitators, creating conducive environment for peace for development, Prof Charles Dokubo is busy reintegrating himself and the Civil Servants.
“With what is happening at the Presidential Amnesty office, it will take at least two years to clear the debt owed by the Amnesty Office to contractors and that is if new contracts are not awarded, a staff of the Procurement Department said, lamenting that the Coordinator is still awarding contracts.”
General Tambo further said all the training centers have closed down and no empowerment program is currently going on because Prof Charles Dokubo is not paying genuine contractors.
According to him, vendors are compelled to source for fund to execute their job before payment and yet those who have finished are not paid. He accused the Coordinator of smartly piling up debt for anyone that may take over from him, wondering what the management is spending the monthly allocation on.
The group wondered why Prof Charles Dokubo decided to convert the Buzi Office to a warehouse after the controversial looting of the Kaiama warehouse, worried that the items being supplied and kept in the open at No 4 Buzi Close are not fit and good for the empowerment of beneficiaries.
He questioned the wisdom behind such idea. How can you empower us with canopies, how do we convey them to the region where we live, what is the cost/benefit analysis? he asked.
“The civil servants in the Presidential Amnesty Program and their cronies are the contractors supplying the items that are not fit and good for the empowerment of Ex-Agitators and when the allocation is released, these supply contracts are hurriedly paid. We have seen where they are building their hotels and mini estates in Abuja and elsewhere.”
The group warned the Coordinator to suspend the demonic plan to bring in a Civil Servant to head the Reintegration Department as it will be his pandora box.
“Whosoever that is advising you to carry out such action does not like you, the group stated. The Civil Servants are only to support and not to drive the process because they have no idea about the context of the Amnesty Programme.
“The Presidential Amnesty Program is not your family business or private company where you can wake up and take any decision without consulting the stakeholders and owners of the program.
The group stated that Prof Charles Dokubo should not be deceived by the peace in the region and that what he is seeing is the peace of the graveyard. It was not because you are doing well but you are doing abysmally bad.
“You have received over N100B since you took over from General Boroh rtd., How many ex-agitators have you given skill training and empowered and paid the cost. You spent less than N40B to pay stipend and about N20B for education. Prof Dokubo, you are not fair to the region.
“You teamed up with anti-Niger Delta people to betray your own because of pecuniary interest. It is so unfortunate that you employ Non-Niger Deltans in place of Ijaw people and let them stay at home and receive salaries for doing nothing. Can you tell us any center where you are giving skills to ex-agitators? Is there any place where you are empowering ex-agitators? You commissioned a training Centre in Ondo State a year ago and now the place is covered with grasses. It’s obvious you have no idea on what to do.
“It is only in the Amnesty office under Prof Charles Dokubo that these officers enjoy privileges even Permanent Secretaries do not enjoy. Mr. Musa Odiniya was recently promoted from Deputy Director of Procurement to a substantive Director of Procurement.
“The Deputy Director of Administration Mrs. Maureen Ubi was denied promotion. Both of them have at least two official vehicles with Policemen attached to them while some other key staff come to work with a public transport. It is only in the Presidential Amnesty Office that Civil Servants travel abroad weekly, yet they claim there is no money to give skills training and empowerment to ex-agitators.
“Few months ago, a woman from Bornu State who had a contract to empower beneficiaries tricked the Coordinator that she could ask President Buhari to renew the appointment of the Coordinator, without carrying out a background checks on her, he appointed her as Special Adviser to the Coordinator on Special Duties and at the same time a vendor with the Amnesty Program.”
Commenting further, the Chairman of phase 2 ex-agitators in Bayelsa State, General Ebisinte Stephen said Prof Charles Dokubo is working to exit the Presidential Amnesty program when over 20,000 ex-agitators are yet to be reintegrated.
He advised the Amnesty Office to stop the fraudulent style of arranging litigations in order to make huge claims on the Federal Government to the tune of billions of Naira and called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to investigate the out of court settlement on SUIT NO: FHC/YNG/CS/70/2019
A staff in the Amnesty Office who doesn’t want his name in print said, “if you want anything from the Coordinator, pass through the Procurement man or Admin not HoR”.
“The Coordinator, Head of Procurement Department and the Head of Administration are like God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost when they want to take decisions bordering on the success of the program. Unfortunately, they know nothing about the Presidential Amnesty Program except in the manner they manipulate the allocation into their pockets.”
How I was maltreated in DSS detention —Sowore the co-convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore, who has been in the detention of the Department of State Services since August 3, 2019, has accused the DSS of maltreating him.
“I was abducted in the middle of the night. I was taken to one of your facilities in Lagos. I was beaten up, rough-handled on my way to the facility in the car. And my cousin, who was in the room with me, was also beaten and handcuffed, and my properties were forcefully seized. And when I got there, of course, the maltreatment continued, they threw me on a cold floor and locked the door.
“I had no contact with even the guards for two nights; I was in that facility before I was flown here by your agents. So, I was seriously maltreated,” Sowore reportedly said during an interrogation session by DSS operatives.
The National Legal Adviser of African Action Congress, the political party on whose platform Sowore contested the presidential race in this year’s general elections, Inibehe Effiong shared the “Transcript from DSS Interrogation of Sowore Upon Abduction – Excerpt 1,” on his Facebook page on Monday.
According to the transcript, Sowore was interrogated by five DSS operatives in the presence of his lawyer, one “Barrister Sam.”
How I was maltreated in DSS detention —Sowore
One Usman Usman, a DSS operative, who led the interrogation, was said to have told Sowore that, “We’ll be asking you questions and our advice is for you to be truthful to the best of your knowledge. We’ll not force you to say anything. Whatever question we ask and you have a problem with or you don’t have an answer to or you don’t want to answer, there is no compulsion, you simply tell us you’re not going to answer these questions.”
When asked by Usman to say “If in the course of your being here anybody has molested you in any way or maltreated you?” Sowore said, “Yes,” and went on to give the response above.
On whether he was denied food, the detainee said, “While in your facility in Lagos, yes, but I decided that because of their hostility I won’t take any food until I am allowed to talk to a lawyer. I continued to refuse food; until I was allowed to speak with a lawyer, and I have seen my lawyer, but I am still being denied access to my immediate family.”
Asked if he had made calls to his family members, Sowore replied his interrogator, “I’ve not made any calls to them. My brother is outside; he wasn’t allowed to see me as we speak.
“No, I’ve not made any call to my family members, I only made calls to people I remember their numbers to bring me food and asked them to call my brother. My brother came in today. But he was denied access to me, so I haven’t been able to see him and as a result, speak with my mum, wife and kids.”(sic)

Fmr. Presidential Candidate Kingsley Moghalu SLAMS Nigerian Youths For Watching BBNaija In what comes as further criticism of reality tv show, Big Brother Naija, a former presidential candidate in the February 2019 election, has come out to condemn the Nigerian youth for following the show.
Kingsley Moghalu has come out to say that Nigerian youths cheat themselves by deciding against voting and choosing to follow reality television shows like Big Brother Naija.
The former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) stated this in a tweet posted this morning.
Moghalu further berated Nigerian youths for choosing to ‘spend their time on the wrong things on social media’ instead of investing in knowledge.
“Our youth cheat themselves when they don’t vote, spend their time on the wrong things on social media, follow the glitterati (@BBNaijafan) instead of the literati (knowledge), and vote, not for ‘ought to win’ but ‘likely to win’ (bandwagon to nowhere, i.e. one chance!),”
Junaid Mohammed, former Nigerian lawmaker said he will back Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition if he has any, rather than support any aspirant from the South-East Nigeria.
According to him, the governing party’s national leader, is way better than any Igbo man who typically, is only keen on blackmailing the country into ceding power to their region.
In an interview he granted Sunday, Daily Independent reports Mohammed as saying:
“If Tinubu wants to be the President of Nigeria and he asks for my advice, I will say go ahead because I will rather have Tinubu as President than have some of the people in the South-East who are ambitious and want to blackmail Nigeria into ceding power to them”.
“I know that no matter what happens, even if Tinubu were to be drunk, he will be a better President than Goodluck Jonathan”.I Will Rather Have A Drunk Bola Tinubu As President Than An Igbo Man – Junaid Confesses
“I also know that he is better than Governor Kayode Fayemi who is also nursing presidential ambition” he said. I Will Rather Have A Drunk Bola Tinubu As President Than An Igbo Man – Junaid Confesses
The Nigeria Police Force has come out to say it is not arresting popular musician, Timi Dakolo, and wife, Busola, but merely inviting them for questioning.
This clarification was made just minutes after the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, called the attention of the Inspector-General of Police to the purported attempt to arrest the couple.
Recall that Timi had posted the letter he recived from the Police on his social media. The letter immediately caused an outrage on social media, with many accusing the Police of taking sides with Fatoyinbo despite the pastor being accused of rape.

However, Mrs. Buhari, while reacting to the then thouht arrest, had tweeted, “Attention IGP. #SayNoToRape, #JusticeForRapeVictims, #SayNoToIntimidation.”
Reacting in a statement, however, the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, said the Police merely invited the couple to make some clarification on the case and they were not arrested.
The statement reads in part, “The Nigeria Police is confirming that its operatives, today, July 20, 2019 served official invitation letters on Busola and Timi Dakolo.“The invitation is sequel to an on-going Police investigation touching on the wider and highly publicised case involving Bisola Dakolo, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, and others.“It is important, however, to note that a Police invitation letter is not synonymous with a warrant of arrest, and must not be construed to be one.“Rather, it is a polite investigative tool used in eliciting information voluntarily from parties to aid Police investigations.”
Officer Mba urged Nigerians to see the action of the Police as a legitimate act in line with the constitutional mandate of the Police, which, among other things, include the investigation of all complaints brought before it.
The Inspector-General of Police, IGP MA Adamu, has also come out to appeal for calm and is reassuring Nigerians that the Police under his watch will remain professional, impartial and unreservedly committed to the pursuit of justice in this case and all other cases before it,” the statement added.

Davido Adeleke Dragged To Court Over alleged N4, 000,000 (Four Million Naira) Fraud ,
Osun State born Nigerian hip pop singer David Adedeji Adeleke aka DAVIDO has been dragged before Igbosere Magistrate Court 2 Lagos State over an alleged fraud of N4, 000,000.00 (Four Million Naira).
The matter which came up for mentioning on the 23rd of May, 2019 as No 16 on the case list at Magistrate Court 2 Igbosere. Listed as Defendants in the suit marked MCL/702/19 are: David Adedeji Adeleke (Davido) – his Personal Assistant: Busari Idris Temitiope (Alias Aloma) and; Davido Music Worldwide Limited music label.
When the matter was called, none of the Defendants, including Davido was in Court, neither were they represented by their lawyers. Counsel to the Claimant Alabh George Turnah, (MON) informed the Court that the Defendants according to the bailiff of the Court, refused to accept service of the originating processes and pleaded the Court for an order for substituted service, which the Court granted.
Investigation revealed that Davido and his Personal Assistant are been sued for fraudulently obtaining the sum of N4, 000,000.00 only from an American based Nigerian born upcoming artist Andre- Tejiri Ochuko Ibhihwiori In the label of Always on Cash Records. Court papers revealed that Davido and his management collected the money as fee to feature in a musical collabo with artist Tjay sometime in January, 2019 but have since then failed to either make himself available for the music collabo or refund the money.
It is not clear how Davido and his handlers will deal with this matter, whether to go into full litigation or seek out of Court settlement with the Claimant who is already asking for 15% interest on the principal sum of N4,000,000.00 from the date of payment to any date that the sum is finally liquidated. This may turn out another Innoson and GTB episode should the talented singer and his team miss-handle the minor.
It is also suggested in certain quarters that this matter of fraud is capable of tainting the image of the singer and affect his credibility in the industry if not properly handled. Feelers from amongst industry players also suggests that Davido may be on his own in this matter as a number of his colleagues and associates who learnt of the Court case today and spoke to our correspondence on condition of anonymity expressed shock and sadness that Davido could engage in such petty fraud against an upcoming artist. Efforts to get to Davido and his management were unsuccessful as calls put through to their mobile phones rang out endlessly without been answered.
The case was however adjourned to the ”23rd of august 2019” for report of service and commencement of trial.
Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Behead Father, Slaughter Boy, 7 & Pregnant Woman,Suspected Fulani herdsmen have left a spate of killings in their wake at Tafigana village of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
They allegedly murdered 46-year-old Thomas Wollo and his 7-year-old son Nggwe Thomas on Sunday night.
The killing of Wollo and his son close to their home in Tafigana village, Bassa LGA, while they were returning from a choir practice at about 8.50pm on Sunday, has caused tension in the area.

Publicity Secretary of Miango Youth Development Association, Zongo Lawrence confirming the deaths said:
“We have been experiencing daily attacks by Fulani herdsmen in our communities, most especially on Sundays and Thursdays during worship days or market days respectively. They want to displaced us at all cause and we are not ready to give out our lands no matter their evil act. The attackers also went to a nearby village in Hukke and destroyed farm produce worth millions of naira.” he said
“We are calling on government to look into these killings in our communities. We are left helpless without hope. In the last few days, we have lost about 17 people to Fulani herdsmen attacks.” he added

Narrating his ordeal, Wakili told Zongo Lawrence, that he was at the farm with his wife when the unfortunate incident occurred.
“Early in the morning today, I went to the farm to plant guinea corn and my wife came to the farm to bring me food. After she gave me the food, she helped me in planting the guinea corn. But as we were working, she lifted her head and saw some men. She then notified me about them. As I lifted my head, I saw 8 Fulanis. I then told her we should run immediately. My wife was 6 months pregnant, so she could not run faster. 6 of them chased her while 2 chased me. I ran fast and crossed the river. As I crossed, I realized that they killed my wife and were shouting, ‘Allahu Akbar, we have killed infidel, we need to kill more’. As I heard them say that, I took to my heels and ran faster. They shot at me while chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’ but I managed to escape. When I got to my village, our people came out and that was how I was saved. The Fulani who did this came from Hayin Rukuba.“
Margaret is survived by her husband, two children, her parents and other relatives.
SHOCKING! I Know Politicians Who Became BILLIONAIRES Overnight” – Rotimi Amaechi Reveals,Ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has come out to make quite the revelation.
In a recent interview, the former Rivers state governor said that Nigeria is a country without consequences, adding that citizens and voters have failed to hold politicians and leaders accountable for their actions and policies.
Amaechi said that he knows politicians who have suddenly turned billionaires few months after taking up political positions. Amaechi who is also a former governor of Rivers State stated this during a panel session at the fifth edition of The Nigeria Symposium For Young and Emerging Leaders held in Lagos on Friday.
Speaking on ineffective policies and extreme poverty, Amaechi explained that the country’s wealth has been in the pocket of an influential few and called for politicians to invest in infrastructure in order to create jobs and reduce crime.
“I know politicians who have suddenly become billionaires, and this is the money that should have been used to build roads and provide amenities that could have been used to improve the lives of citizens. Our politicians have to be clear on how they intend to lift people out of poverty,” he said.

Nigeria population at 190million,The National Population Commission DG explained that the urgency of a census had positive implications for national security. The National Population Commission has estimated that the population of the country is about 190 million. The Director-General of the commission, Dr Ghaji Ismail, who spoke at a press conference on Tuesday, said it was imperative to conduct another census as soon as possible. Ismail said:- The NPC DG explained that the urgency of a census had positive implications for national security.
Watch Here “Based on data available to us, the present population is about 190 million. About three months ago, the United National Population Fund brought out a figure of 201 million. The UN figure is a function of the assumptions we both made. “You have to use models to arrive at the figures you are projecting. The margin of error is very small. It is more imperative that the government should undertake another census. “It strengthens our case that we should have undertaken another census. The last one was in 2006 and we should have had another in 2016 in line with the 10-year global requirement.” “ ” “In the last three or four years, we have been preparing and there is a process which gives us a lot of hope that this will soon be addressed. “We have been groping in the dark in terms of dealing with Boko Haram and other forms of insecurity but we are sure that the government will move swiftly.” “
Barely 48 hours to the planned mass action and following public outcry against the RUGA Settlement Projects, President Muhammadu Buhari is said to have suspended the idea pending further notice.
RUGA settlement scheme, according to presidency, was an idea designed to stem the tide of herdsmen/farmers clashes across the country. But many states affected and members of the public had misconstrued it as another form of the proposed cattle colony by the federal government.
Some members of the public and civil society groups had also planned mass action in Abuja against the scheme, on Friday, 5th July, 2019. But a source close to the presidency hinted newsmen on Wednesday, that President Buhari may have resolved to suspend the scheme till further consultations.
The source said, after consultations with stakeholders, Buhari has resolved to put away the idea for a thorough review and well-accepted approach to the menace constituted to national security by the constant clashes between herdsmen and farmers. According to the source, the announcement would be made any moment from now with detailed explanations, going forward.
The video of a 17 year old girl seen struggling with her self and lying and rolling on the floor helplessly has surfaced on social media. The very disturbing video has got a lot of concerned Nigerians talking because of the reports as heard in the video.
The girl was said to have paid her 15 year old friend (Favour) a visit and also took the drugs without Favour’s consent. Favour said ” She has done this before when she came for my brothers birthday when she took little drugs and she started misbehaving and i had to take her to her house. Today again, she came to my house, i suggested to buy her soft drink(Coke) but she declined . Before i knew it, she had already consumed the drugs she had on her and then started misbehaving.”
An elderly woman present at the scene advised Favour to either advise her friend to stop taking drugs or stop her from coming to her house because if anything happens to the girl, Favour will be held responsible .

It can be recalled that few months ago, it was reported that a young lady who decided to get high on drugs was tied up in public for constituting public nuisance. According to a Facebook user James Adesina who shared the report, the lady who acted under the influence of drugs was tied up by some security guards in the area after going on rampage by damaging some properties.
Inside the viral video of the lady that was posted online, the yet to be identified lady was being made fun of by her friends at the background. The ladies were seen laughing and making gestures while they were narrating what happened to the security guards who tied her up.
It was revealed that the lady was left outside for quite sometime to get herself before she was released.
With expensive illicit drugs like cocaine and heroin out of reach for many unemployed young people, they’re turning to a range of cheap options and concoctions to get high. The spreading addiction among Africa youth to cheap synthetic opioids brought in from China and India has had much press recently.
What do you think the government should do to young girls and boys who get themselves involved in hard drugs?

President Muhammadu Buhari has reiterated the determination of his administration to rid the country of injustice and corruption.
“Any person who cheated or looted the nation will be brought to justice, irrespective of status of the person in society,” he said.
Speaking at an audience with South-West Imams and Islamic scholars on Sunday at the State House, Abuja, PoliticsNGR learned that the President urged religious leaders in the country to spread the message among their followers of the government’s total determination to promote social justice across the entire society.
President Buhari said the nation’s diverse religions and cultures teach justice by all and for all, adding the “unless there is justice for everyone, the country cannot progress.”
The leader of the delegation, Sheik Abdulrasheed Hadiyatullah described politics as the proper administration of public affairs and rebuilding what was destroyed.
He commended President Buhari for doing just that, and assured him of support in reforming the country.
“We have never seen a purposeful government as this one. We have great respect for you. We will continue to support your war against corruption and the programmes aimed at making life better for the generality of Nigerians,” Sheik Hadiyatullah declared.
8 Places Where A Man Can Get A Good House Wife Material In Nigeria
Before i go ahead to list these places,i must state emphatically that women are women. I know plenty of people in great relationships that have met in places like pubs and dance clubs. same goes for super markets and sidewalks. there are skanky bitches every where and there are awesome chicks everywhere so the list does not apply 100%.
Nevertheless,in my opinion,i have meticulously sieved out great places where men can have a real good chance of meeting ladies who will most likely make good house wives and mothers and while some may sound realistic to you, some may sound odd and outright funny but i will try my best to give a concise and brief reason why i chose these places so lets take a ride.
1.The food market: You will likely see ladies who are well groomed in kitchen affairs in the food market especially in the section where great experience is needed in deciphering good food items from bad ones and of-course a lady who understands how to stock the kitchen will have a good idea of how to make good meals and the way to a man’s heart stil remains through his stomach.
2.Catering Schools: Trust me,most ladies in catering schools are definitely interested in learning the kitchen tricks and i can’t stress it enough that a lady who knows how to cook very well will definitely make her husband happy.
3.The mid-week religious gathering: Yes you will be wondering why i chose the mid-week. The truth is that any lady can go to church on Sundays or to jumait service on Fridays but it takes a lady who is really close to GOD or have the love for GOD to go to religious gathering during the week when she can as well be at home watching telemudo and a lady who loves GOD will surely love her family.
4.Marriage classes : Make no mistake about this,a single lady attending marriage classes is definitely interested in making her future marriage secured and when you find any single and searching lady in this meeting please go for her and you will most likely never regret it.
5.BRT BUS TERMINAL: I know this will come as a surprise to many people but it may interest you that waiting to get into a BRT bus most times requires lots of patience and a lady who can be patient enough to wait in line for a BRT bus to show up will most likely be patient with her hubby through trying times lol!
6.Mama put joint:Yes very very funny but think about it.Many ladies prefer the effizy of going to big time fast food joints just to form butty and would rather prefer to eat pizza in these restaurants whereas the worms in their belly are yearning for good amala with gbegiri and ewedu soup with choice meat or any decent meal.So if you see a lady in mama put restaurant innocently swallowing her amala please pay attention to her because she is likely to be a down to heart zero-effizy and humble lady which are good qualities of a wife material.
7.Nairaland food, family and religion section: This is very realistic because the internet is one place where you can be yourself and on nairaland forum we have various sections you can visit uninhibited so if you see any single lady viewing the family, religion or food section asides front page topics then she is truly religious, family oriented and naturally inclined to food matters so tell me if such a lady will not make a great wife?
8.Her work place: Definitely ladies who have groomed themselves to be financially independent and busy doing one thing or the other rather than jumping from one place to another with different guys are likely suitable as wife materials.
I guess i have tried and you are free to add yours.
The Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has provided reasons he would be missed by the people of the state when he leaves office next year.
